Bones Crossover

Booth wasn't wrong about the rich thinking they owned the world. Jack Hodgins's father had been a good man but a man given to lust. Jack's mother, out of love or duty, had turned a blind eye to Jack's father's infidelities. Until they opened the door to find a ten year old boy with the Hodgins blue eyes and bruises wringing his neck. Mother Hodgins welcomed him into her home and agreed to raise him as her own. But that night, his parents were in a car accident, leaving two sons to grieve in their own unique ways.

Ten years later, Jack Hodgins works for the Jeffersonian and Connor Hodgins works for a Historical Society with high enough clearance to have lunches with the President. Jack can't always say he agrees with his brother's life, especially living under the weight of the government, but he always supports him to be his own man.

But when a headless body with deformities is found and the Squints are pulled onto the case, how will Jack react when Connor's 'historical society' sends him to represent their interests in the investigation? How will he deal with the fact that a few of those conspiracy theories are more fact than assumption? And how can the brother he raised be such a mystery to him?

NOTES: Hodgins would be between 15 and 18 when Connor first shows up. I purposely left their parents' names vague, although, in my head, I called them Mary and James. And, whether Connor has his memories back or not, he knows about the supernatural and works for the Council.

Bonus points for: Booth not being Angel, shanshued or otherwise. And for Booth not being some kind of descendent of Angel's. Connor sort of recognizing him, though, if he doesn't have his memories, is gold.

Also bonus points for a sort of sibling rivalry over Angela, even if Connor is really gay and is just doing it to twit his brother.
